Joshua, Pride of Mobile Bay The sun sets across the bay and the Mobile skyline sparkles like a distant wonderland. From your secret spot along the Eastern Shore you enjoy the breeze as the tide shifts and spreads the fragrance of salt water and Magnolias. Just as you drift into a daydream and the life of a Pelican, Joshua, Alabama's own wooden schooner drifts into your view. The sun glows through her warm ecru color sails. The crew of 4 does not see you behind the shore grasses and you can hear their faint laughter as they recount the sailing events of a day on the Gulf of Mexico. At sometime in your life you plan to take a cruise on Joshua. What a surprise this would be for those close to you who have never seen this part of your world.
Joshua, Pride of Mobile Bay This painting was in the making for over a decade. Today, Captain Bramblett offers sailing charters for as many an 49 passengers. Already, Joshua has become a popular place for weddings, family reunions, and celebrations of every kind. Joshua is truly a legend in her own time! For more information of how you can enjoy a brief walk-on cruise from the Grand Hotel of Fairhope or other points along Mobile Bay, visit Joshua's web site at To receive their sailing schedule, drop them an e-mail requesting to be on their mailing list. About this special limited edition: For 15 years we have watched the arrival of the effects and offerings of the "digital revolution" on the art world. For the same reasons you never buy a car in it's first year out, we too waited to see where this was all going and wait for the best quality inks, papers and techniques. Prints made using this new technology are called "giclees." The quality of the image has come a long way and we are delighted to announce that Unframed signed and numbered prints on paper are $65. The canvas prints are $150. Sorry For an extra touch, add an engraved plate to you new art. Edition size: 200 signed and numbered prints on paper, 12 S/N on canvas and 25 artist' proofs. |

Pen and Ink Sketches For sophistication and variety in your fine art collection, consider original pen and ink sketches.
We hope you will take the opportunity to consider different mediums of fine art to make your collection more exciting. Train sketch from Atmore, AL.
Like all original works of fine art, we strongly encourage you to use a framer who knows the proper handling of original art... Use only conservation mats, backing, etc. If it is a work on paper, always use conservation glass that shields from damaging UV rays... even inside! A good framer will avoid touching the art surface !! The oil that holds your flesh together will come off in trace amounts and years later your art will have a damaging mark. If it is worth keeping, it is worth preserving !! Be sure to visit the "Donna Who?" page for more new pen and ink sketches. Contact the artist for sketches that may be available at this time. |
