Sometimes we forget the magnitude of the Great Lakes area and the many lights necessary to warn the ships of pending danger. Michigan alone has over 100 lights and proudly opens many of them to the public!

As visitors we need to teach every child how to respect these sights and good behavior when sharing it with other visitors! (only a Grandmother would say something like that!)
